Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Seasonal Year?

At CSC, each seasonal year consists of two seasons: Fall (Sept to Nov) and Spring (Mar to May), in that order.  When determining the age group for a season, the year the season ends should be used for determining the birth year.  Also note the format “U followed by age” really means that age and younger.  For example, U8 should be read as 8 and younger.  For more age-group information please reference U.S. Soccer’s Player Development Initiatives.

Birth Year and Season Matrix

Can players play up?

Any individual player MAY choose to play up one age division. Parents/legal guardians must (1) note the play-up request in their online registration, (2) sign play up waiver, (3) turn in the original signed play up wavier.

Can players play down?

Players may NEVER play down an age bracket.

Are uniforms provided?

Each player is responsible for purchasing their own uniform separate from registration fees.  This is typically handled by the coach and parents of each team.

What other expenses can we expect for the season?

In addition to Registration Fees, players can expect to pay for a jersey or t-shirt, shorts, socks, shin guards, cleats, and a ball.

Is a birth certificate required?

If the online registration system informs you that a birth certificate is required, then we DO need a copy of the player’s birth certificate.  Birth certificates may be emailed to CowetaSoccerClub@gmail.com or mail a copy to P.O. Box 812,  Coweta, OK 74429

What happens if player is registered after registration deadline?

Players who are registered after registration deadlines are not guaranteed a place on a team and are required to pay a late fee.  If there is not an open spot for the player the registration fee will be refunded.

When/Where are practice times?

Practices times and locations are held at the discretion of the coach.

I completed Registration, what's next?

Coaches should be contacting players (that registered before the deadline) approximately 2 weeks before the start of the season.
